Passengers on La Lancha, the 90 passenger ferry that crosses Havana harbor to Casablanca and Regla. The fare is 20 centavos Cubano or 1 penny. Some passengers who have no money just shrug their shoulders at the fare collector and board with no repercussions. A ferry was hijacked in 2003 but the hijackers were captured half way to Florida and executed 6 days later. Now there is a security checkpoint before you board.
